Greetings from northeast Indiana.
As I have thought about you and your faithfulness, these verses came to mind:
And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ… (Ephesians 4:11-13, KJV)
I appreciate the work you have done and continue to do to prepare your students for the ministry to which God has called them and helping to mold them to the image of Christ.
Summer vacation has finally arrived! After pouring yourselves into the lives of your students for the past school year, it is time to recover, refresh, and rejuvenate. I pray these summer months will be relaxing and profitable for you.
Even as you take some time away from school, planning has already begun for the coming academic year. Some of you will be participating in the Administrators’ and Supervisors’ Trainings. (If your training was more than five years ago, please be sure you schedule training for this summer. The trainings can fill early, especially Administrators’, so you will want to register soon. Please click HERE to open the page where you can find information and register for either training type.) There are repairs to be made, painting to be done, deep cleaning to accomplish, and supplies to inventory and order. The truth is that, while your tasks may be different, your summer will still be focused on your students and their success. I appreciate your servant hearts and pray God will bless you abundantly as you balance summer and school responsibilities.
There are several ministries in our region that are working toward starting schools this fall, using the ACE School of Tomorrow program. Please join me in praying that God will guide their decisions and give strength and grace for the work that needs to be done. If you know of anyone considering a school, please connect me with them. I will be happy to answer questions, provide a presentation, and do all I can to help with the process.
As we prepare for the busy fall season, I would encourage you to pull the two numbers you will need for your annual School Information Update so you have them ready when we need your form completed. In STMS, go to “Reports” (left column). Usually the last report that shows on the screen, without scrolling, is the “Field Representative Report.” This is what we need. Be sure the school year is set to be 2025-26. If you had students who were not with you all of last year (late enrollment, withdrew, or graduated and had fewer than 60 PACEs to complete), please de-select them for the report. Once the report has generated, you can print a copy for your records. The numbers we need are the average number of PACEs completed and the average PACE Test score. Thank you for preparing this information in advance.
I am looking forward to meeting those of you in the western part of the territory this fall and visiting as many schools as possible, seeing those with whom I have worked over the past number of years. I am grateful for the Field Consultants (formerly Assistant Representatives) who have partnered with us this year. I know they will be a blessing to you if one of them conducts your annual school visit.
Please do not hesitate to reach out to me if there is anything I can do to be of assistance. I am here to serve you. May the Lord bless you abundantly and give you the special touch of His grace you need at this time.
Blessings,
Harrold E. Taylor, M.Ed.
Ministry Representative
